Gerald is a Co-Founding Partner at KKN Law LLP and Results-driven lawyer with expansive expertise in general areas of practice, including but not limited to dispute resolution, civil and criminal litigation, capital market practice, company law, corporate-commercial law, tax law, family law, start-up, aviation law, procurement law and employment law.
He served as the Managing Partner at KKN Law LLP from the firm’s founding until August 2026.
He has a proven track record of success in handling complex legal matters, providing strategic counsel, and achieving favourable outcomes for clients. Strong skills in legal research, advocacy, litigation, negotiation, and drafting.Excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of legal principles and regulations.
Also trained as a private pilot at 43rd Air-school in South Africa and has successfully run successful tech startups, showcasing entrepreneurial skills and business acumen. Notable startups include Sokoney ecommerce marketplace, Patafile – Legal Practice management software and Linkarp an events networking application.
His work experience spans diverse legal environments, including the Capital Market Authority at the licensing and approvals department where he did his internship, two
middle-sized law firms (Kithi and Company Advocates and Mbigi Njuguna Advocates), tech start-ups, and the aviation industry.

- Provides constitutional and legislative counsel to the Senate of Kenya, leading the drafting and amendment of Bills, statutory instruments and technology governance frameworks, including AI regulation and data protection
- Represented clients as lead counsel in high-value commercial, employment, tax, land, procurement and constitutional disputes across multiple forums
- Advised multinational corporations on Kenya market entry strategy, regulatory licensing and compliance frameworks
- Developed and negotiated complex commercial transactions and dispute resolution strategies for institutional and private sector clients across East Africa
- Advised on the development and implementation of regulatory frameworks for artificial intelligence, data governance and digital platforms, integrating international best practices into Kenya’s legislative environment
