Robert is a seasoned corporate lawyer with experience in various fields that include Employment, Real Estate, Intellectual Property, Insurance Law, Contract Law among others.
After pursuing training at the Kenya School of Law and at Anjarwalla and Khanna, Robert ventured into private consulting where he has excelled in the aforementioned practice areas. His key achievements include guiding the Emboo River Camp through the legal requirements needed to register as a B Corp Entity (a global community of over 7,000 members who are leveraging their power to transform the economy to benefit all people, communities and the planet). Emboo river is the second member in the Tourism Sector in Kenya that is registered as a B Corp Entity.
Robert has also assisted a leading asset financing company to expand to over 100 locations across the country and his legal efforts have gotten him various accolades and recognitions, most notably the Young Lawyer of the Year Award in 2021. The Nairobi Branch of the Law Society of Kenya issued this award to Robert as a recognition of his innovative legal skills and this is the first time, and only time since, that a private consultant has been issued this prestigious award.
